Its been awhile!!

I've been meaning to update this blog for a while now and I finally have some time to do it! Here's a little update on what we've been up to....

March: Cadence got sick with RSV, which was not pleasant at all! That was a LONG two weeks! I went with a few friends to San Francisco for a few days then flew back to the Phoenix airport, met Lyle and Cadence and then flew straight to Austin. We were able to visit a lot of our family and friends which was nice and we actually lucked out and got good weather while we were there! We were able to spend two weeks there which was awesome! We definitely got our fix of Mexican food while we were there too!

April: Cadence started eating finger foods, which is very entertaining! She definitely loves to be able to feed herself! Her favorites are avocado, black beans, rice, chicken, meatballs and sweet potatoes. She's coming around to fruit, I think she isn't too fond of the texture yet. Lyle started official workouts, which has gotten us back into the groove of things. 

May: These first few days of May have been hard for Cadence since her top two teeth are just about in.....I just don't know where she got the dramatic behavior from haha! She took her first step by herself to Lyle yesterday! She reached her arms out to him and just went for it! She's getting very brave in all of the crazy things she is trying to do which means lots of bumps and bruises and tears!

Cadence is movin' and groovin'! She is now making her way around the entire coffee table and goes back and forth from the coffee table to the couch!

Finally a tooth!

I finally felt a tooth popping out of Cadence's bottom gum tonight! I thought that darn tooth wasn't ever going to appear. I'm sure she was wondering the same thing by the way she had been behaving lately! I can't wait until it completely comes out and I can take some new pictures of her with a cute little tooth in her mouth!

This weekend was tons of fun, but it definitely left Lyle and I really exhausted by Monday! Friday we went to the George Strait Concert, Saturday we went to the golf tournament and Sunday was Superbowl! It was a fun filled weekend with friends and family!

My attempt at blogging :)

Ok, so in my attempt to keeping everyone updated on what is new with us I am going to try to do so with this blog. I'll just start with a few recent pictures of Cadence and what is new with her! We are in month 7 and she has been hitting so many milestones! So far this month Cadence has learned to go from sitting to standing, she can maneuver around anything she is standing up against, she is using her knees now to crawl, she went from laying to sitting up today, and has been saying "momma"!!
